Description

Under the title "Biotechnology 2021: Advancing into a decade of sustainability", CLIB will highlight various trends and developments for a future sustainable economy based on biogenic, renewable and recycled carbon in three digital events and one hybrid, full-day closing event. This second event in the series will focus on the utilisation of gaseous carbon: 

CIC2021 Event Series Part II - Empowering C1-utilisation

Wednesday, 14.04.2021 

As keynote speaker, Martin Langer (B.R.A.I.N. AG) will discuss the greenhouse gas CO2 as a building block for value chemicals. Prof. Anna Mechler (RWTH Aachen) and Birgit Lewandowski (Electrochaea GmbH) will look at the exciting coupling of electrochemical and biotechnological technologies and possible applications. In addition, Edda Höfer (Südzucker AG) will report on the platform technology developed for the optimised production of sugar specialities.
