The July edition for the Horizon Europe newsletter on food, bioeconomy, natural resources, agriculture and environment (Cluster 6) is now available!

The latest issue contains various news on Horizon Europe, new projects and upcoming events such as the EuroGEO workshop 2021.

The main highlight of this edition is the launch of the first Horizon Europe calls for proposals. It comes after the European Commission recently adopted Horizon Europe’s main work programme for 2021-2022.

The deadline for submitting proposals on Cluster 6 is 6 October.

Are you planning to apply? The newsletter also highlights an upcoming Information Day on Horizon Europe, taking place 7-8 July. This event is specifically for those interested in applying for the Cluster 6 calls, and guides them through the process of preparing a quality proposal.

For those interested in networking with potential partners, the newsletter also mentions a brokerage event on 9 July – designed for potential applicants to meet and connect with fellow organisations.

There’s plenty of further news to catch up on by reading the newsletter, from the launch of the new European Research Executive Agency (REA) website to the selection of 40 new research projects that will contribute to the EU Green Deal.

Lastly, you can also register for the EuroGEO workshop 2021 through the newsletter. Taking place on 20-23 September, the online session explores how Environmental Observation-based solutions can support the EU Green Deal. It brings together the European community within the Group on Earth Observations (GEO).
