Overview

About us

Cap Digital is the French Digital Innovation Hub for digital and ecological transformation in the Paris Region, the first digital innovation ecosystem and the largest business cluster in Europe.

Cap Digital was created as a result of a public policy for the development of economic sectors with strong growth potential located in the same geographical area. Since 2006, the cluster has been implementing the Paris Region’s strategy for digital content and services, supporting innovative SMEs in this field.

In May 2018, Cap Digital integrated Advancity, the French cluster supporting sustainable urban innovation and has thus enlarged its ecosystem with new members active in four domains: EcoTechnologies, EcoMobility, EcoConstruction and EcoCity. By gathering stakeholders of digital transformation and energy transition, Cap Digital is now the first European cluster of Future and Sustainable Cities.

In January 2020, Cap Digital continues to grow and decided to join its forces with the Pôle des Industries du Commerce (called PICOM), an innovation cluster dedicated to retail in France since 2006, in order to develop cross-functional collaborations with their respective members, particularly in the field of data, artificial intelligence, urban space and the mobility of tomorrow.

Our +1000 members are primarily innovative SMEs but also major universities, higher education establishments, research labs, corporations focused on a specific technology-driven industry and investors.

Our members represent French digital industry’s most active players.

Our definition of a business cluster

  • It aims to create and foster links across market players;
  • To support collaborative research, innovation and growth.

Cap Digital’s expertise is expressed through

  • Our organization, made up of sector-specific communities and experts from among its 1010 members
  • A highly-qualified team
  • An information system that enables us to capitalize on knowledge within the ecosystem and related technological domains

Cap Digital reflects the nature of the digital industry and ecological transition

  • It is flexible and prompt to react.
  • Our objective is to meet our specific members’ needs whilst creating a united group capable of meeting the challenges of a changing global economy.

Our mission

We are at the forefront of the future and accompany this new industrial world being built before our eyes. This place of choice gives us a fundamental role. A role of agitator and facilitator that brings together all players in the digital economy & sustainable development (and more) and makes them work collectively to bring their visions, prototypes, projects, technologies and services beyond everyone’s expectations. To achieve this, we offer our services in support of innovation, acceleration, digital transformation and ecological transition.
