Business support for companies: Clusters and the Enterprise Europe Network

In the meeting on 11 March, the European Alliance Against Coronavirus talked about the collaboration between clusters and the Enterprise Europe Network as two types of entities which help companies with business support services.

Daniel Coșniță from InPULSE Partners SRL, Romanian Cluster Association​, highlighted that the thematic groups of the EEN have worked with clusters in the region for more than seven years. The aim is to enhance this cooperation between the entities and find common responses to the current challenges.

Susanne Baden Jørgensen from Food & Bio Cluster Denmark​ presented the thematic group for clusters within the EEN, which delivers specialised high-quality services to clusters with international ambitions to generate cross-sectorial and transnational collaborations. They exchange on best practices and organise matchmaking events, cluster missions, and partner searches.

The EEN itself is the world´s largest support network for companies, helping companies to innovate and grow internationally through international partnerships, advisory support, and innovation support.

Roberto Morán from Cluster ASINCAR shared his experience in working with the EEN network. The cluster has made frequent use of distribution lists, networking and info days, business missions, and coaching services of the EEN to develop its activities for the agri-food companies in their cluster.
