About us

Bulgarian Fashion Association is a network organization that connects companies from the clothing, textiles, business and IT sectors, cooperating for achieving digitization, sustainability, innovation and circular economy in the fashion industry.

Bulgarian Fashion Association’s mission is to support the fashion industry in Bulgaria and to integrate it in the European value chain through partnerships with other European organizations in the field of fashion and sustainability, innovations, R&D. We are creating cooperation with leading fashion and technology clusters in Europe in order to boost the competitiveness of SMEs in the European Fashion sector, to support Made in Europe Fashion Design and to help the European Industrial Renaissance.

BFA seeks to build strong competences and form strategic alliances in the following areas:

- Help the creation of innovative and sustainable products with the use of advanced textile materials;

- Advanced digitized manufacturing to enhance productivity and industry modernization;

- Circular economy and resource efficiency;

- Personalization in clothing production.

Bulgarian Fashion Association offers services for promotion of Bulgarian Fashion in Europe and in third countries.

Internationalization services provide companies with the opportunity to expand and grow in the global market.

BFA helps companies to find customers interested in their products and services around the world organizing business missions, participation and attendance to fairs, provision of market information and guidance, online promotion as well as technical and legal advice.

BFA fosters collaboration between research centers, universities and other partners in order to support the creation of new products and services and find new market opportunities.

We are working on promoting European fashion and the European fashion industry and to help in the process of digitalization, sustainability and competitiveness.

BFA develops training initiatives for new professionals.

FASCINATE COS-CLUSINT-2019-3-01 SUSTAINABLE FASHION ALLIANCE FOR INTERNATIONAL MARKETS

The SUSTAINABLE FASHION ALLIANCE FOR INTERNATIONAL MARKETS (FASCINATE) project ́s aim is to support the internationalization of EU textile and fashion SME clusters that are working towards the development of circularity and sustainability in these industries. Besides the textile and fashion industry, this partnership will also seek a cross-sectoral collaboration with the technology and footwear sectors.

Further information

Bulgarian Fashion Association presented the products of 8 Bulgarian fashion producers at White Label World Expo in London, UK in November 2019.

BFA presented Bulgarian fashion producers at TexTailor Expo in Plovdiv, Bulgaria in November 2019.

BFA is invited and will present Bulgarian fashion producers at White Label World Expo in Frankfurt, Germany in May 2021.

BFA met the organizers of Modexpo, Bucharest, Romania and discussed the possible participation at the fair.

We are also partnering with White Label Expo Las Vegas, USA and BFA is presented on their web site.
