About Borg El Arab Cluster

EiTESAL at the age of 12 realized it is time to spread its activities & reach to remote regions. We decided to adhere with a wide spectrum of ICT companies to form a technology cluster working in Borg El Arab industrial zone. We utilized the space of the newly established Silicon Waha technology park

“Borg El Arab Innovation Cluster” is the First Cluster Of its kind in Egypt marking the first cooperation between the government and the private sector in Innovation The consortium consists of four academic institutions, 8 ICT companies, and 4 Innovation support companies

We shall play a crucial role to enable innovation and entrepreneurship in ICT in the fields of IoT, Smart Cities and Robotics by creating an ecosystem that helps creating new job opportunities in the northern governorates of Alexandria, Marsa Matrouh and Al Beheira.

The cluster is targeting to create 150 high value jobs in five years, incubating 40 -50 startups and pursuing acceleration funding. Through industry-academia collaboration new products will be developed allowing the industry to grow more profitable.

The innovation clusters is a genuine concept of private-public partnership with joint funding scheme.
