Overview
About us
bioPmed is the Italian innovation cluster dedicated to health care related products and services. Established in 2009 by Regione Piemonte in the framework of the ERDF funds, it is managed by Bioindustry Park Silvano Fumero, the local science & technology park specialised in the field.
bioPmed brings together companies, research centers, universities and foundations, working together with a common vision and a shared strategic plan. It promotes research-industry interactions, stimulates innovation, supports valorisation and commercialisation of research results and internationalization.
It offers dedicated funding opportunities for R&D&I initiatives, high added-value specialized services and international networks to support industry competitiveness.
The cluster operates in several areas related to human health such as biotech, pharma, diagnostics, medtech, medical devices, digital health etc. following a personalised healthcare approach. bioPmed activities are in line with the strategies of the European Union, as well as with the regional Smart Specialisation Strategy, supporting the competitiveness of the regional industrial ecosystem in the field.
The cluster includes among its members four Piedmontese ASL - Healtcare Service Provider.
