BioM Biotech Cluster Development GmbH
Overview
About us
Since 1997, BioM is the non-profit networking organisation for biopharmacy in Munich and Bavaria commissioned by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs. The cluster management brings together Bavarian biotech SMEs, scientists, founders and startups, industry partners, investors and other relevant stakeholders on regional and international level. The experienced team of BioM offers comprehensive support for SMEs, founders and startups in medical biotechnology. BioM offers specialised coaching, training, and mentoring services as well as networking events for the biotech sector in Bavaria. Its inQlab program constitutes a “virtual startup incubator” for life science projects in the early stages of company formation. 400 biotechnological and pharmaceutical companies with 35,000 employees are present in Bavaria. The core competence of the region is the development of innovative therapeutics and diagnostics, in particular for personalized healthcare. BioM supports the Bavarian biotechnological and pharmaceutical sector with an extensive network for developing new business contacts. The cluster management offers central access and a broad range of information about the sector for prospective customers from home and abroad. We inform you about the active substance pipeline and the technology platforms of Bavarian life sciences companies. Owing to our close collaboration with the technology transfer organizations of the cluster and our support of future startups, BioM has a very good overview of the biomedical innovations developed in Bavarian research institutions and life sciences enterprises. Contact us if you are looking for new products, technologies, potential cooperation or licensing partners or exciting new investment opportunities. BioM has been awarded GOLD Label by the European Cluster Excellence Initiative (ECEI). BioM Bavarian Biotech Cluster Report: https://www.bio-m.org/en/facts-and-figures/publications.html
