We are a cluster specialised in biotherapies. Starting in Nantes, now we are active in 3 regions, covering centre and north-west France. At the beginning of cluster’s activity, there wasn’t any biopharma industry in the territory. Making our region more attractive to attire big players was one of the cluster’s goals. This has been achieved and now Merieux Nutrisciences is present in Nantes.

In 2005 Atlanpole Biotherapies was a pioneer in immunotherapy and has by now become a global leader in the field. Today immunotherapies, alongside regenerative medicine, are Atlanpole Biotherapies’ flagship strengths.

Meantime, in 12 years since its creation, Atlanpole Biotherapies has multiplied its number of members 10 times.

Lately, supported by us SMEs, Valneva, Eurofins and OSE Immunotherapeutics went public.

Further information

Atlanpole Biotherapies provides support services which can be classified into 4 main groups:

  1. Network development,
  2. Collaboration projects,
  3. International development support: participation in international events, vouchers for partnering in Europe, coaching
  4. Communication.

During last year we've accompanied our Members to international events such as BIO San Diego, BIOEUROPE Berlin, BIOFIT Strasbourg, to support their internationalization efforts. We are partners in two INTERREG projects to simplify access of our Members to markets in Atlantic and North-West Europe areas, as well as to offer travel and internationalization vouchers.

Members of Atlanpole Biotherapies are invited, on regular basis, to participate in various events that we organize, as a series of What's Up - debates on trending topics (local scale) or our flagship international event BIOREGATE Forum.

We support our members to access funding, both private and public.

Furthermore, we reinforce our Members' communication through our events, website and social media.
