Tepro joins as a member of CTA to accelerate its R&D

  • Tepro is an agricultural consultancy with more than 80,000 hectares managed in Spain, Portugal and Bulgaria, a presence in 5 countries in Europe and Africa and a growing innovation activity.

  • CTA already has 168 member companies of all sectors and sizes, from startups and technology SMEs to large corporations, with innovation as a common denominator.

The Sevillian agricultural consultancy Tepro has become a member of CTA (Technological Corporation of Andalusia) with the aim of accelerating its R&D strategy.

"With our incorporation to CTA, we hope to continue growing, as part of our business strategy, in terms of R&D applied to agricultural production to contribute to the consolidation of a sustainable and efficient Andalusian agriculture thanks to the adoption of differentiating technologies”, says the Tepro's General Manager, Álvaro Domínguez Delgado.

The agri-food sector is one of the seven strategic areas in which CTA operates. It has already financed more than 75 R&D business projects in this area with close to 28 million euros. CTA also participates in numerous European projects related to agribusiness in major trends such as digitization or the circular bioeconomy, which c opportunities to Andalusian companies.

Tepro's activity covers the integral management of agricultural farms, irrigation projects, agri-food infrastructures, national and international consulting and R&D projects. Tepro helps the agricultural sector to use resources efficiently and effectively, promotes low-carbon agriculture, using innovative techniques and technologies and minimizing the negative impact on the environment.
