  • At the event, a group of innovative companies learned about the new Spanish Artificial Intelligence Strategy (ENIA, acronym in Spanish) and the Andalusian Consortium for innovation in applied Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, AIR-Andalusia.

  • In the last 5 years, CTA has supported more than 50 AI-related R&D projects, which have mobilized more than € 30M.

CTA (Technological Corporation of Andalusia) organized a conference on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in which the Spanish Artificial Intelligence Strategy (ENIA) and the Andalusian Consortium for Innovation in Applied Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (AIR-Andalusia) were announced.

The event, which was attended by more than 20 representatives of innovative companies, was moderated by the CTA's General Manager and CTA's Technical Manager, Elías Atienza and Fabián Varas, respectively.

Miguel del Valle, from the State Secretariat for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence (from the Spanish Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation), explained the details of the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy with special focus on the objectives and concrete measures for companies.

This strategy aims to align national policies to the development and use of AI in Spain, increasing investment, reinforcing excellence in AI technologies and applications, and strengthening collaboration between the public and private sectors.

On the other hand, during the event, the recently created Andalusian Consortium for innovation in applied Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (AIR-Andalusia) was presented, which will provide support services to Andalusian companies interested in developing or incorporating these technologies.
