Startup Europe Ambassadors

Secpho is official Startup Europe Ambassador, recognized by the European Commission.

Throughout the years, Startup Europe (SE) has been a collective effort of hundreds of stakeholders, movers and doers in tech and startup field. The impact of this initiative could not have been possible without the immense support provided by this community. The community that is currently taking part in the growth of Startup Europe as a bottom-up movement have been invited to be Startup Europe Ambassadors.

Startup Europe Ambassadors represent a group of key influencers in the European startup ecosystems who are actively supporting our activities or who will be joining our adventure in the future.

The ambassadors are the organisations who have been selected through the evaluation of proposals of European Commission’s Horizon 2020 ICT 32 call, as well as partners of Pilot project: WeP-UP and OpenMaker. For a full list of the representative organizations please click here.

As Startup Europe Ambassador, secpho will actively contribute to the visibility of Startup Europe by acting as a key information point in Southern Europe about Startup Europe activities or by connecting the Startup Europe team with relevant stakeholders from our local startup field. It is our goal to gather feedback and to provide innovative insight to the European Commission’s Startup Europe team with the objective of improving the activities of this initiative.

Since 2018, secpho is one of the partners of the DeepTech4Good Acceleration Programme, financed under the Horizon 2020 framework, committed to help Deep Tech startups accelerate their development and scale up at European level. There are 4 application domains: Health & Well-being, Industry 4.0, Smart Mobility, Smart City. DeepTech4Good is led by 4 innovation hubs from Germany, France, Austria and Spain, working together to identify high potential Deep Tech startups. For further information, check out the Brochure DT4G. If you are interested in joining the DT4G programme, don’t miss our event in Barcelona taking place on 25 April.

Moreover, secpho is organizing matchmaking events for startups, investors & corporates taking place on the 6 March in Barcelona and 13 March in Madrid. These events focus on helping technological startups in the creation or development phase, facilitating their access to the opportunities offered at a European level, as well as helping them to connect with agents such as investors or corporations. The objective of this session is to support the entrepreneurial ecosystem of companies related to photonic technologies, as well as to connect them with investors, companies, accelerators and other entities that support entrepreneurship.
