The Kick-Off-Meeting of euWater4i-SD was successfully held online on the 30th September and 1rst of November 2021. During two days of exchange, the five partners had the opportunity to get to know each other and present the work packages they are responsible for. Since then, the project has been well underway and the partners continue to meet once a month online to discuss the project's progress.

However, even if working online is no longer a problem for anyone, a face-to-face meeting at some point is essential. The opportunity presented itself with the second Steering Committee meeting. Some partners had to opportunity to travel to Bilbao, Spain, to meet on the 15th and 16th of February 2022 in the headquarters of ACLIMA, project coordinator of euWater4i-SD.

All work packages of euWater4i-SD were reviewed, with a particular focus on work package 3: Designing the Joint Internationalisation Strategy that will be the basis for future support measures for SMEs going international. The trip was also the opportunity to meet with the delegation of the Regional Government of South Moravian Region, where CREA Hydro&Energy is based, and to visit the Guggenheim Bilbao Museum of modern and contemporary art.

The two days were intense, but took the concretisation of the euWater4i-SD strategy a step further and fostered cooperation between partners. The next face-to-face meeting will take place at IFAT in May/June 2022, where the Innovation Forum will be held.
