REINA PLUS is a European project led by the Basque Energy Cluster that was approved last year as part of the COSME "Clusters Go International" programme. Energy Clusters from Upper Austria (Oekoenergie), Vaasa in Finland (Merinova) and Portugal (Energyin) are taking part in the project and the aim is to foster and support internationalisation activities for European companies in a series of international target markets, like Mexico, Brazil, Chile, USA and North Africa. The Basque Energy Cluster, on behalf of the REINA PLUS consortium, moderated the afternoon working session on Mexico and presented the main conclusions regarding how to support European companies in their activity in the Mexican market.

As well as giving the ESCP4i label to 19 European cluster consortia, the EC publicly presented the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP). This web platform, which was created and launched by the EC, is supporting Clusters in achieving greater visibility to the activities developed in the international level and to foster their collaboration in various fields such as technological development and internationalisation.
