REC-N-COMP on the main business event for composites

JEC World is the leading international composite show, taking place yearly in Paris. After being postponed for 2 years in a row, JEC World will be back from May 3rd to May 5th.

As is is the case for each edition, Techtera, the French textile cluster partner of REC-N-COMP, will be present on the show. A joint booth for SMEs is organized with the clusters Axelera (chemistry and environment), Polymeris (plastics and polymers), and Cimes (mechanical engineering). Together with these 3 clusters, Techtera created the collective called Composites Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes to support companies and develop synergies between complementary sub-sectors of the composite industry.

JEC World will allow REC-N-COMP to showcase its activities, raise interest of the industry and involve SMEs in the actions of the project like the organization of business missions to the USA, Japan and Sigapore that will begin in the second semester of 2022.

In addition to promoting REC-N-COMP to SMEs, JEC World may also be an opportunity to meet international players of the composites sector with which further collaboration can be considered.

More about REC-N-COMP

REC-N-COMP supports the internationalisation of European SMEs whose activities are related to the manufacture of composites from recycled materials, particularly textiles. A joint internationalisation strategy will be developed and tested, targeting three countries: the USA, Japan and Singapore.

Call for Pitches

The call for pitches for SMEs willing to participate in the international activities of REC-N-COMP is open until April 15th, 2022. It offers a unique opportunity for SMEs to participate in a mission in either the USA, Japan or Singapore. There will be 5 SMEs participating in each mission.
