On May 15th, 2023, the group of SMEs led by REC-N-COMP spent its first day of the mission to Japan. Two activities were undertaken. The morning focused on training activities, and last preparatory actions for the week. During the afternoon, the delegation visited PANECO, a producer of sustainable boards made from waste clothing fibers. Paneco has a strong engagement in circularity and in the creation of value chains dealing with pre and post consumer waste. Synergies have been identified with the participants in the mission and with the clusters composing the REC-N-COMP partnership. Next steps: setting up a framework for collaboration, and going on with the second day of the mission!
