Port Gdynia

Port of Gdynia is now one of the leading ports in the Baltic Sea Region. It specializes in handling general cargo, including containers, ro-ro and other unitized cargoes. The port has a well-developed network of multimodal transport connections to the hinterland and to its foreland by regular Short Sea Shipping lines as well as ferry connections. Handling of bulk cargoes in the port’s specialized terminals also plays a significant role in the port’s activities. The Port of Gdynia is an important link in the Baltic - Adriatic Corridor of the Trans-European Transport Network connecting Scandinavia through Poland to Czech Republic, Slovakia and further on to the Adriatic Ports. Apart from the terminals described below, there are two other terminals functioning in the Port of Gdynia dedicated solely for handling uniformed cargoes, i.e. Aalborg Portland Polska (imported cement) and Onico Gas (imported LPG).
