The Packaging Cluster participates in a training with energy clusters from all over Europe

 TCE project.

Clusters from Finland, Sweden, Portugal and the Basque Country participated in the meeting organized by Cluster Development.

Within the framework of the European Towards Cluster Excellency (TCE) project, the Packaging Cluster presented its value proposition to the different leaders of four European clusters: Oy Merinova Ab (Finland), Energy Cluster of the Basque Country (Euskadi), EnergyIn (Portugal), Paper Province (Sweden).

The TCE project aims to improve and strengthen the management of the clusters, so as to have excellent tools to provide business services with high added value, especially for SMEs participating in the cluster partnerships.

The Packaging Cluster showed its management model and good practices, emphasizing at management level the fact of involving key senior people of the sector with the cluster, giving as examples of one part, how the training is worked, and the other, how to promote the involvement of new companies with the cluster, with two external profiles advising and co-taking responsibility for these two areas.

Finally, the session pointed out the importance of the strategy in the management of the clusters, showing as an example the Strategic Update of the scope of packaging that currently Cluster Development is working with ACCIÓ, which will detail the scope of the sector in Catalonia, as well as its challenges Strategies.
