The meetings held favor the creation of cross-cutting international projects.

The Packaging Cluster attended the V Cluster Matchmaking, a meeting of European clusters, which took place on 21th and 22th September in Stuttgart, Germany. As in past editions, the objective of these two days is to promote that the participating European entities know each other through B2B meetings of 20 minutes and other workshops and conferences that are held throughout the event. Thanks to these meetings, a closer and more trustworthy relationship between clusters is created, sharing experiences of management of the cluster structure as well as good and bad practices in both local and international projects.

The event brought more than 175 european clusters and hosted 600 B2B meetings.

The meeting also encourages the collaboration and creation of consortiums to participate in different European calls, allowing to offer services of internationalization (commercial missions, market intelligence, research and development of new products …) to the member companies of the clusters. An example of this is the project BSR Inter 2FoodPack being carried out, which was born during the meeting last year in Warsaw.

This year the meeting brought together more than 175 European clusters, 8 of which were a Catalan delegation, and has led to more than 600 B2B meetings. Thus, the Packaging Cluster has met Latvian High Added Value and Healthy Food Cluster, Lithuanian Printing Industries Association, BalticNet-PlasmaTec Cluster, Waitrose Supplier Partnership Group, the Eastern European Food Network of 5 clusters Clusters, the Techtera Cluster from France, the Kids Cluster, the Cluster of IT and Electronics GAIA of the Basque Country and Omnipack, the Packaging Cluster of Hungary.
