NRE China mission - 4th/9th September

The EU Delegation was represented by Mr. Claus Mortensesn of INBIOM (Denmark), Mrs. Liyan Adjarova form Energy Agency of Plovdiv (Bulgaria), and Mr. Enric Pedros from FEMAC, took part of the Special Seminar on China (Fujian) – EU Agricultural Cooperative Opportunities. The Fuzhou Workshop included introductory meetings with the Government of Fujian Province, Ministry of Agriculture to discuss the prospects of developing a sister agriculture cluster here in China. This mission provided a deeper understanding on viable business and cooperation models, what European technologies and businesses have prospects in Fujian province, and beyond, and how to develop a cluster that would become part of the Natureef Consortium in the long-term. Furthermore, the mission allowed both European and Chinese partners to discuss financing options including government grants, private sector investment, and research funding that will come to support the project, should it materialize.

The Delegation, had the suport form the Centre for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI) of the Spanish Innovation Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness.

The agenda also included a participation the 19th China International Fair for Investment & Trade, in Xiamen, and the visit to the folowing companies: Xiamen Tasman Bio-Tech Co. Ltd, a Sino-Israeli Demonstration Fram among others.

Natureef will organise a Commercial Mission for European SMEs, in the field of renowavle energies, waste and water and waste management, farm technologies and biomass technologies, for the first quarter of 2017, and leaded by INBIOM.
