The 9th Germany-Japan Joint Workshop on "Flexible, Printed Electronics and Sensors" was an overwhelming success with 245 registered participants from 7 different countries. Together with our partners Yamagata University and the Saxony Economic Development Corporation we brought together cutting-edge technology from the field of flexible and printed electronics and sensors. Inspiring Keynote sessions from two pioneers in the field of organic electronics, Prof. Karl Leo from TU Dresden and Prof. Junji Kido from Yamagata University, set the stage.
In two parallel session Japanese and German Companies presented insights into current trends and developments for various field, ranging from agricultural sensors to biocompatible inks and dental health applications.
In the third session 30 poster pitches allowed for individual networking, B2B-Meetings and in-depth discussions between the international partners from Japan, Saxony and Europe.
A poster pitch by Jitka Barm presented the NE4HEALTH project at this international audience with great feedback and interest from the attendees.
