The National Packaging Congress 4.0 arrives for the first time at IFEMA Madrid, from February 8 to 10, 2022

The packaging and intralogistics sector is at a boom with constant evolution, and the emergence of the so-called Fourth Industrial Revolution has caused both sectors to face new challenges in the coming years. Spain, in fact, is the third country in the world with the highest growth in e-commerce, with an estimated revenue of 23,322 million euros for 2023. In this context, Pick&Pack will offer solutions for processes, manufacturing, printing and for the entire supply chain , as well as the strategic levers to stimulate innovation and the competitiveness of companies.

The National Congress of Packaging 4.0 lands in the Spanish capital at the Madrid fairgrounds of IFEMA from February 8 to 10 to receive 6,000 delegates for three days, who will come in search of an industrial and technological partner that allows them to improve their productivity and discover new business opportunities to promote the sustainability of packaging and more efficient logistics. The congress, co-organized by the Packaging Cluster, will bring together more than 200 exhibiting companies such as Knauf Industries, ControlPack, Enplanter, Toyota, Grupo Eulo, DHL, Grupo CTC, LPR, Tetra Pak, ULMA, Carreras, Dematic, Element Logic, Exotec , among others, to show its exclusive solutions in robotics, supply chain, smart packaging, and technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, 3D printing, additive manufacturing and more. With more than 160 specialists such as our member Jose Racinero, CEO of AIS Vision Systems; Víctor Borrás, Marketing Manager of Knauf Industries; Begoña Hernández de Aguirre, CMO of Abax Innovation Technologies; or Agustín Sancho, business director of Addvance Manufacturing, will provide the present and future applications and opportunities of industry 4.0 in the packaging sector.

In this edition, European Intralogistics SummitEncuentro Alimarket Logistica de Gran ConsumoNational Packaging Congress 4.0 and Encuentro Alimarket Soluciones de Envasado para Gran Consumo will be held to offer a variety of content with the main objective of satisfying the needs of the industry in focus on innovation. International experts will present the latest solutions for more sustainable packaging and the strategic plans regarding circularity of the leading food and non-food companies such as Pedro Ruiz, from Nestlé Spain; Mercedes Hortal, from Campofrío Food Group; Jorge Martínez, from Pascual; Francisco Núñez, from El Corte Inglés; Yolanda Fernández, from Alcampo; Elio Estevez, of Procter & Gamble; or Antonio Romero, from Mercadona, among others.
