On October 26, Silicon Europe and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) signed an MoU at SEMICON Europa in Grenoble. Both parties aim to further strengthen their cooperation in support of Taiwanese and European joint business and technological endeavours, particularly in the fields of micro- and nanoelectronics as well as Smart-X systems.

Already two events in favour of this MoU were organised this year. Next to the European Innovation Week during COMPUTEX in Taipei (30.05.-03.06.), a Taiwan-Europe Forum and Business Matchmaking took place during SEMICON Europa in Grenoble (25.10. - 27.10.).
