MetaIndustry4, following its objectives to achieve a international expansion, by having presence in all those organizations which are interesting for the Cluster and its members, has recently signed its admission in the European Lightweight Association.

The European Lightweight Association, ELA, aims to strengthen the competitive position of its members and aspires to create a strong collaborative network among them. The Association has born in Central Europe with organizations from Germany, Switzerland and Austria, with a clear challenge: strengthen the competitive position of its company members and create a common position in Lightweight technology. The colaboration under this framework will allow expanding the members access to clients, technologies and best practices for all the enterprises and institutions, members of the European Union.

The ELA association, also commited to being a powerful base to make everyone be awake of the benefits of reducing the emissions for trade and of climate protection. It is estimated that Lightweight technology not only provides a wide range of business opportunities, but also it can contribute to the protection of the climate. In this way, MetaIndustry4 joins ELA in its effort to greatly support the Grean Deal promoted by the European Union.

Companies and research institutions in the regions represented by ELA, which now includes MI4 members, are leaders in their sector, and, in that possition, they are really visible to the outside world. One of the main objectives of the association is  to strengthen the economic force from its companies, for example, through joining trade platforms or by developing cooperation between companies and institutions in innovation and digital transformation projects.
