Basque companies gathered once again at INTERGUNE+, the Internationalisation Forum of the Basque Country organised by SPRI. It took place on 4 and 5 October at the BEC (Barakaldo) and was attended by a delegation from the Mexican Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), including Master Vladimir Sosa, Coordinator of the Electricity Sector Energy Savings Programme (PAESE), and Master Francisco María Cabeza, Charging Station Project Manager.

During this reverse trade mission in the Basque Country, the mexican delegation had the chance to visit some of the most representative electromobility companies in the region. Electromobility is one of their strategic priorities and they are currently in the stage of learning best practices to define their strategy and regulatory framework.

Representatives of Ingeteam and ZIV in the field of charging points and IBIL and Iberdrola as charging managers presented the market perspective and their lines of action, as well as their facilities and mobility control centres.

The CFE delegation also held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Industry, Javier Zarraonandia, and Master Sosa spoke at INTERGUNE+ about promoting electromobility in Mexico.

This reverse trade mission was the first keystone to know more about the current Mexican market within the framework of Reina Plus project, a first contact to make the most of the next direct mission with companies to the country.
