MESAP INTERNATIONALIZATION ACTIVITIES

>> 5E Contest: Power up your innovation in electronics!  We invite all electronics innovators to participate in the 5E Contest! The contest, promoted in the framework of the 5E project, wants to celebrate the importance of electronics products in Europe by rewarding the best in the fields of Nanoelectronics (NE)Flexible, Organic and Printed Electronics (FOPE) and Smart Electronic Systems (ESS). There will be 3 categories of winners, officially awarded at the Smart Systems Integration Conference 2021, 27-29 April.

APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN! The 5E Contest is completely free and all-inclusive to all innovators based in Europe. You can participate by filling in the online form here by 20 March 2021.

>>E2DRIVER: Training activities with Italian pilot companies underway.  The paper “Energy Efficiency Solutions for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises” is now available. It presents an overview of the energy efficiency programmes tested by four H2020-funded projects, including E2DRIVER, to support SMEs in the efficient management of energy. MESAP, together with the Italian project partners Politecnico di Torino and Sinergie, will launch in March the first training activities dedicated to the Italian pilot companies to assess their energy framework and identify actions and recommendations to be undertaken.

>>European projects: What’s new!  MESAP is part of an exciting new H2020 European project, considered promising by the European Commission and rated with a score of 15/15! The new INNOSUP project is called MIND4MACHINES and will run for 36 months and support cross-sector and cross-border collaborations between manufacturing SMEs to improve their production processes through the use of digital technologies. The consortium consists of 11 partners from 8 European countries and the funding mechanisms for SMEs are similar to the Iot4industry project. More news soon. Stay tuned!  

>>Opportunities for Collaboration in European Markets.  The selection of opportunities for collaboration in European markets is now online, offering new opportunities for business, development and European partnerships. It is realised in collaboration with Confindustria Piemonte, partner of the Enterprise Europe Network – EEN promoted by the European Commission. In the updated editions you will find a tailor-made selection of specific requests from the EEN network, inserted by companies looking for partners to develop new projects and applications of innovative solutions.

>>MINALOGIC Business Meetings: Early bird for MESAP members until the end of February! WHEN: 27 May 2021, digital and in-person (Lyon, France) MESAP and the Silicon Europe Alliance partners invite you to the 7th edition of MINALOGIC Business Meetings, the business convention that brings together international buyers and tech providers on digital technologies, micro-nano electronics, software and photonics. This year the event will be a hybrid of online and in-person appointments. Participation requires registration on the dedicated platform and the compilation of one’s own profile for the management of B2B appointments! Preferential rates valid until the end of February 2021 are reserved for MESAP members – early bird fee.

>>SMARTEES2: Online event dedicated to flexible and wearable electronics. WHEN: 5 March 2021, 9:00-13:00, online Colleagues from Minalogic and DSP Valley, our partners in the Silicon Europe Alliance, are organising a matchmaking event on Friday 5 March to explore the topics of flexible and wearable electronics (FWE) in textiles. These technologies offer multiple possibilities in different application fields including manufacturing, aerospace and medical. In fact, flexible and wearable electronics can integrate a high level of intelligence into textiles, especially when it comes to interaction with the environment and users. The initiative is free of charge and is part of the SmartEEs2 project, a European accelerator programme supporting innovative FWE companies.
