MESAP:  Training session activities across Europe

MESAP joined the European Factories of the Future Research Association (EFFRA) General Assembly 19th March 2019 to promote pre-competitive research on production technologies within the European Research Area by engaging in a public-private partnership with the European Union called 'Factories of the Future'. The partnership aims to bring together private and public resources to create an industry-led programme in research and innovation with the aim of launching hundreds of market-oriented cross-border projects throughout the European Union. Such projects will produce demonstrators and models to be applied in a wide range of manufacturing sectors. Factories of the Future is the European Union’s €1.15 billion research and innovation partnership which supports applied research in production technologies and related fields to ensure that manufacturing in Europe remains competitive and sustainable.

On 22nd March MESAP presented the IoT4Industry 2nd CALL , a training session regarding the H2020 project funding with 2 million of Euros collaborative projects between SMEs able to imagine iot solution into manufacturing processes. On this occasion companies received an overview about the  1st CALL results and they have the possibility to discover the 2nd CALL opportunities, how to find a collaborative partner. The 2 CALL opened on 1st April until 11th June 2019 and support 3 types of regional collaboration between SMEs : feasibility studies,  prototypes and demonstrators.  (details on https://www.iot4industry.eu/innovation-vouchers)

MESAP took also part to #LetsCluster Summit (March 25th to 27th 2019, at the Messe Congress Graz) the event organized by Siliicon Alps Clusters. Thanks to its membership of the Silicon Europe Alliance, MESAP has the opportunity to join more than 8 SideEvents, a HighTech Expo with the greats of the national and international micro- nd nanoelectronic ecosystem and an outstanding B2B Matchmaking. The scope of #LetsCluster was to emphasize the strengths of the important flagship enterprises in the application fields of Smart Living, Smart Mobility, Health Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Cyber Security, Industry 4.0 and many more. On this occasion MESAP has a booth and it hosted the Innovation Research Centre CSP – : CSP performs RTD activities  in Collaborative projects with businesses and RTD, the Technology Labs and in the Joint Labs with Academy and businesses. ALWAYS ON THE MOVE! On the weekend MESAP participated at MECSPE, the 18 edition of one of most important Italian fairs focused on innovations for the manufacturing industry.
