Meet the Dutch - Seminar: Cooperation with Netherlands extended

Submitted by Frank Boesenberg on 28 March 2018

On March 27th, Silicon Saxony member SAP hosted a Dutch Delegation during a seminar including a pitch and a matchmaking session dealing with IoT, Industry 4.0/Smart Industry and Big Data. The event, that was jointly organized by the Durch Embassy in Germany, the Saxon State Ministry for Economy, Labour and Transport and Silicon Saxony was rounded off by a visit of the 5G Lab at TU Dresden, one of Europe's hotspots with regard to development of 5G. More than 50 participants discussed latest developments and explored new business opportunities. Silicon Saxony already has established contacts to the Netherlands at cluster organisation level, e.g. within the Silicon Europe Alliance. The country is also a very important one on member level. Not only that some successful member companies, such as Qoniac, are driven by Dutch entrepreneurs, it is also an important partner for business cooperations, involving e.g. NXP or Sempa Systems. Silicon Saxony looks forward to further reinforce these cooperations.
