MAGIA clusters’ alliance meets with Belgian medtech SMEs

Submitted by Emilie ROMEO on 21 September 2018

The four European alliance’s partners have organised their last cluster visit at Biowin’s premises in Wallonia, on September 17 and 18. After the visits of Lyonbiopole, Life Science Nord and BioPmed ecosystems led in the last 9 months, the partners finalized their programme in Wallonia to meet Biowin’s SME members developing medtech products. At this occasion they exchanged with 5 SMEs and learnt more about their internationalisation needs and ambition. The roundtable debates were specifically focused on the US and Chinese market accesses. Indeed, after the surveys realised within the project, towards medtech SMEs, the MAGIA alliance has selected the US and Chinese markets as priority. These represent competitive but very attractive countries to tackle. Therefore, in the next months the partners will deploy activities aiming at reinforcing their joint strategy towards their target markets as well as developing supporting entry tools for SMEs.
