Key message from the European Commission to clusters and ALPHA-RLH

The ALPHA-RLH cluster organised its member forum in Latrenes, near Bordeaux in Nouvelle-Aquitaine région and celebrated the “Pôle de compétitivité” award delivered by the French Prime Minister for the Phase IV (2019-2022) of the national competitiveness and innovation policy.

The event was labelled under the “EU Cluster Weeks” action conducted by the European Commission to promote the leading role of clusters in strengthening innovation ecosystems.

The ALPHA-RLH cluster was honoured to receive a remarkable speech from Ulla Engelmann, Head of Unit for Advanced technologies, Clusters and Social Economy, European Commission.

Hervé Floch, CEO of the ALPHA-RLH was congratulated for its European engagement through the Association Française des Pôles de Competitivité (AFPC) and for fostering excellence and growth in the deep-tech photonics sector. Ulla Engelmann addressed her best wishes for success to the ALPHA-RLH cluster and its members.

Ulla Engelmann highlighted the key role of clusters in stimulating innovation and competitiveness in Europe. She encourages them to further support their ecosystem and to purse their efforts towards more cross-sectoral cooperation at the European level.
