The pitching "I + P, Ideas to Produce" is open until October 6 to register audiovisual projects for its 15th edition, which will be held on November 30 and December 1 in Pontevedra. The Galician Audiovisual Cluster will guarantee personal protection measures and social distance in front of Covid-19.
The "I + P, Ideas to Produce" aims to bring together producers, screenwriters and directors who have a film or television project, and who seek business alliances with a view to its co-production, sale or distribution, with directors of television channels and platforms, executive producers, distributors and international sales managers.
Among all the works received, a committee of experts will select 18 film and television projects to make a pitch on December 1 in front of prominent agents in the audiovisual sector. Then there will be one-to-one meetings between the producers and creators of the works and the experts who attend the Pitching this year.
Producers and creators interested in participating in this new edition of I + P can register their work until October 6 by sending the registration form to [email protected]. Both the call and the form are available on the website www.clusteraudiovisualgalego.com. The Cluster will communicate the selected projects in November.
In the 2021 edition, the "I + P, Ideas to Produce" has the support of the Xunta de Galicia, through the Galician Agency for Cultural Industries (AGADIC) and the Galician Institute for Economic Promotion (Igape), and the Pontevedra Town Hall. With the sponsorship of Gadisa, Music Library & SFX, Cinetools and Galicia Calidade and with the collaboration of AGAG, the Filmarket Hub platform and the Pontevedra Film Commission.
AGAG and CREA collaboration
The "I + P, Ideas to Produce" renews its collaboration with the Galician Trade Union Association of Screenwriters (AGAG) and with the Galician Association of Professionals of Direction and Production (CREA) with the aim of favoring the participation of the members of this association in pitching with preferential conditions.
The projects of the AGAG and CREA partners best valued by the Selection Committee among all those registered in the "I + P, Ideas to Produce" will have direct access to the conference, enjoying the same discount as the members of the Galician Audiovisual Cluster. In the event that there are more projects by members of AGAG and CREA selected to participate in the event, the general conditions will apply to them.
