Galicia represented at the Global Startup Awards gala in Denmark by the BFA/CEAGA

The Business Factory Auto (BFA), managed by CEAGA, participated last 17th in Copenhagen in the final gala for the Global Startup Awards as a nominee in the “Best Accelerator” category.

Having won one of the most prestigious entrepreneurship competitions in the world, the South Europe Startup Awards, as the best accelerator in France, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Spain and Cyprus, the BFA was nominated as a finalist in these global awards among more than 10,000 entries from around the world.

In a gala with more than 500 participants and closed by representatives of the Danish government at the highest level, the automotive accelerator Business Factory Auto was valued, promoted by the Xunta de Galicia, the Vigo Free Zone, Stellantis and CEAGA, by its capacity for disruptive innovation, the cohesion of the ecosystem and collaboration to benefit the economic growth of the BFA environment.

The Global Startup Awards are one of the largest competitions in the startup ecosystem. More than 124 countries on 4 continents are present and provide a global platform that creates added value for participants, government institutions, corporations and private companies. Its mission is to provide high quality awards, recognizing the startup of entrepreneurship ecosystems at the local, regional and global levels with the aim of connecting, promoting and displaying the startup and entrepreneur communities in each region, but also on a global scale.

With this important international nomination, the Galician automotive ecosystem, led by CEAGA, adds a new recognition to the good know-how of its public-private collaboration.
