With nearly 45,000 visitors and more than 700 exhibitors, SEMICON Taiwan is one of the largest trade fairs in the semiconductor industry worldwide. When the key player's of a world market that has now grown to $ 400 Billion meet, Europe's players should certainly not be missing. With Silicon Europe, this already seems to be very successful. Instead of single national booths, a full dozen European exhibitors were present in Taiwan with Silicon Europe.

Silicon Europe, the umbrella organization of twelve European electronics and digitization clusters, represented a diverse spectrum of the European microelectronics industry at SEMICON Taiwan 2017. With a total of ten well-known exhibitors, including members of Silicon Saxony, Silicon Alps, DSP Valley and Minalogic, Silicon Europe presents itself for the first time at the fair with common interests and objectives. The participation in the fair was another step on fostering the collaboration with Taiwan within its internationalization initiative Silicon Europe Worldwide. As the exhibitors at the Silicon Europe joint booth were consistently positive, Silicon Europe will again be represented in Taipei at SEMICON Taiwan next year.
