FINAL DAY HEALTHCYL PROJECT

BIOTECYL with CLUSTER4EYE and CLUSTER SIVI have obtained funding from the General Directorate of Industry of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Junta de Castilla y León, for the realization of the HEALTHCYL PROJECT. This project aims to improve the competitiveness of our associates and put the value of the HEALTH sector in Castilla y León (sector represented by the 3 Clusters involved in the project), and thus attract investment and talent to our region.

The final workshop of the HEALTHCYL Project took place at the headquarters of the Business Competitiveness Institute, in Arroyo de la Encomienda, last Friday, November 9, 2018. The three clusters involved in the project met to review compliance with the objectives marked in the project. In this way, the joint action of the three health clusters of CyL, have achieved through this collaboration:

  • Give visibility and promote the commercialization of the technologies, products and / or services of the partners of BIOTECYL, SIVI and CLUSTER4EYE.
  • Promote intercluster collaboration, stimulating and consolidating joint activities within the theme, promoting the CCAA as a benchmark in health, for the attraction of investments and talent.
  • Generate positive effects in the associates of the three clusters, as a result of the intercluster collaboration.
  • Identify the global market of the region in the subject of study: competitors and potential partners.

These actions have been included in an Action Plan prepared for the visibility and commercialization of the MAPA of Technology, Products and Services of the partners of the clusters, also elaborated within the objectives of this project. For a broader and joint vision of the entire sector, BIOTECYL, CLUSTER4EYE and SIVI, have developed a market study of the HEALTH sector in Castilla y León, with the help of the consultancy PROYECTA. With all these results, the three clusters hope to help boost the HEALTH sector in Castilla y León, with a collaborative approach within the regional cooperation and transfer intraclusters, aimed at improving competitiveness, allowing visibility and future development at a national and international level, in European innovation environments.

In addition, in the development of the meeting strategies of detection of potential partners in the three clusters, development of future projects interclusters in the sector, collaborative training days, etc. were discussed.
