FGOI: First Exploratory Visit in Third Countries - South Africa

On April 4th - 8th, a FGOI delegation coordinated by the Transylvanian Furniture Cluster & Hygia Consult will travel to the Western Cape Province, meeting with stakeholders in Cape Town, George and Knysna. During the meetings, the project and the intentions of the European companies will be presented: bilateral import/export relations, direct investment intentions and companies interested in partners for international projects.

On April 5th, 2022, between 10.00 and 12.00 (SAST Time) the meeting "Project partners discussion & South Africa stakeholders" will take place, with the physical participation of some guests in Cape Town and online participants from partnered networks. On this occasion, the project and the interest of the collaborating parties (European & African partners) will be briefly presented. The objectives of the visit is in line with the objectives agreed on by the consortium in the official Joint Internationalization Strategy:
- CREATE AN INTERNATIONALISATION COOPERATION FRAMEWORK
- IDENTIFY SPECIFIC MARKET OPPORTUNITIES
- ESTABLISH FORMAT RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE KEY PLAYERS IN THE TARGETED MARKETS
- CREATE NEW SERVICES TO SUPPORT SMEs INTERNATIONALISATION

- Targeted business relations (customers/providers)
- Support development for direct investments
- Initiation & development of international projects
