In order to prepare further actions such as B2B and trade missions in its target markets (Eastern Africa and Latin America), the euWater4i-SD partners are currently organizing two exploratory missions: one in Peru in October 2022, as part of the Expo Agua Peru fair; and one in Uganda in November 2022, as part of the AFRICA 2022 fair.

Expo Agua Peru, which will take place from October 19th to 21st in Santiago de Surco, is Peru's leading trade fair specialized in water and sanitation and, since 2021, in the sustainability market: renewable energy, circular economy, solid waste management, zero emission, etc.

AFRICA 2022 – Water storage and hydropower development for Africa, which will take place from November 29th to December 1st at Lake Victoria, will showcase more than 80 companies active in the fields of hydropower and dam engineering.

The main objectives of these missions, which will be an opportunity to present the euWater4i-SD project in its target markets, are the following:

- Understand the local water policy, regulations and priorities

- Identify water-related needs and local offer, through an inventory of technologies used on site

- Identify actors in the water sector, both public and private and both local and non-local

- Identify opportunities for EU SMEs, for instance potential projects and/or partners

In this framework, the aim of the euWater4i-SD partners is to meet with several actors: companies in the water sector; water users, especially in the agriculture/construction/energy/industry fields; international donors; business representatives; local authorities; NGOs; local clusters working in the water sector; universities / R&D actors.
