EU - SINGAPORE WATER SOLUTIONS – EXCLUSIVE WORKSHOP AND NETWORKING SESSION 10 July 2016

Submitted by Scott Allison on 10 June 2016

CLEAN is one of the strongest European cluster organizations and part of the European Strategic Cluster Partnership Go International Energy in Water initiative funded by the EU.

CLEAN holds the secretariat of the Innovation Network for Environmental Technologies and works closely with the Danish Water Technology Group, Danish Industries and partners from Singapore Business Federation and the Global Compact Network Singapore for providing the necessary business conditions to aid cleantech research, development and project implementation.

Among other things, the collaboration is focusing on providing holistic solutions to help smart cities and larger organizations around the world achieve optimum levels of environment and energy efficiency by bringing together various technologies in the water, wastewater, energy and climate adaptation sectors to a common platform and lead the process of co-creating integrated solutions applicable to overseas conditions. This session also paves the way for a regional water solutions collaboration that would be mutually beneficial to all parties concerned.

Denmark and Singapore are small nations with about 5.5 million people. Both manage scarce resources and reducing their impact on the environment has always been a priority. Collaborating for more than 50 years, Denmark and Singapore have several dedicated resources within the water-energy area and are on the forerunner within innovation.

The event is organized in parallel to the Singapore International Water Week, which is the global platform to share and co-create innovative water solutions.

The Global Compact Network Singapore and CLEAN come together in this exclusive workshop and networking session and bring together some of the best solutions and possibilities for innovative business partnerships and collaborations by offering the following program.
