Enlit Europe, the international trade fair resulting from the merger of Powergen Europe and European Utility Week, is one of the largest exhibitions dedicated to the entire energy ecosystem. This year it took place in Milan, from November 30th to December 2nd.

The fair offered an extensive programme of three days to discuss various strategic issues such as energy transition, decarbonisation, energy resilience and digitisation. ESECA partnership could not miss this event!

ESECA (European Sustainable Energy Cluster partnership for Africa) is a project funded by the Cosme programme of the European Union; it aims at intensifying business network collaboration among European SMEs in the renewable energy and smart grids sectors, in order to develop a joint internationalization strategy with common goals towards Sub-Sahara African markets.

The Basque Energy Cluster (coordinator of the project) and the Lombardy Energy Cleantech Cluster - LE2C were present at Enlit Europe 2021 representing ESECA, promoting the project’s mission and upcoming opportunities. The project caught the attention and interest of several companies and stakeholders of the energy sector – the ESECA community is taking shape!

Stay tuned for the upcoming ESECA news and activities : 2022 is going to be an exciting year for Europe – Africa collaboration on energy!
