64 people attended the restitution webinar of ESECA consortium on June 9th. The goal was to present the first results of our market analysis on sub-Saharan African renewable energy and smart grids sectors, with special focus on our target markets: Senegal, Ghana, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Kenya.

After the presentation of the ESECA Alliance, we then provided the participants with keys to enter these markets and illustrated these opportunities with the intervention of two SMEs of our network: SETEC energie environnement and Energy 4 Sustainable Development.

We concluded by announcing the next steps of our project. In June and July, ESECA consortium will go to Tanzania, Kenya and Senegal to meet local stakeholders and take part in international energy fairs: the ARE Energy Access Investment forum and the 20th Congress of ASEA (Association des Sociétés d'Electricité d'Afrique).

In September, ESECA will also organize its first workshop in Lille, France! On September 15th, take part in the conference "Access to energy: supporting innovation between Europe and Africa" and promote your skills and projects through round tables, workshops, pitching session and booths! Take advantage of September 16th to visit some local SMEs active on the African continent and exchange with them on their experience.
