The Basque Energy Cluster (ACE) attended this event with nine companies involved in this innovative sector, which demonstrated their capabilities in terms of developing floating technology projects at an event that brought together more than 1,000 experts in this sector. ACE also had a stand to promote the new “Floating Wind Basque Country” brand and expand the impact of the network of Basque companies involved in the floating wind sector.

This year's FOWT 2022 (16-18 May, 2022) brought together more than 1,000 experts from across the sector in a conference divided into three parts. There were specific technical and regulatory presentations on the floating wind sector, a part of the exhibition with small stands for commercial promotions and a part dedicated to B2B meetings, to foster a more individual and direct relationship.

In collaboration with Pôle Mér Mediterranée, ACE gave a presentation about ELBE Alliance to more than 30 people at a side event, in which delegations from other leading regions from the sector in Europe, such as the Netherlands or Germany, also took part.
