The second Focus Group devoted to Barriers of SMEs Internationalization was held on 19-20 September 2018, Sofia, Bulgaria.  The event was hosted by Automotive Cluster Bulgaria with the support of Cluj IT and it was in the framework of GIVE project, WP2 supported by COSME program. The overall aim of the WP2 is to create common knowledge base for internationalization   and   marketing among cluster managers and SME.

During the event the accent was put on interaction of and cooperation between stakeholders representing the three different areas – automotive, green technologies and ICT.

The main conclusion during the wrap –up session is that clusters can act in different ways in order to support the internationalization of SME. Firstly they can take pro-active steps and propose to the Governments new and more tailored measures to assist companies in their sailing –up activities   and bottom up incentives. Secondly, they can develop different services in order to respond to the need of their members, like training programs, advisory services, data –bases and etc.

More concrete information about the methodology, areas discussed, roots caused and solutions you could find in the report.
