Representatives from eight organisations are participating in a mission to Germany (9-11 October) along with the Basque Energy Cluster to attend EVS30, the leading worldwide event in electric mobility, and discover the global situation of the sector first-hand, its key players and future prospects in the field of the electric vehicle and its charging infrastructures.

Continuing with the series of business missions to reference European markets in the field of electric mobility aimed at holding meetings between companies and key agents in the sector, the Basque Energy Cluster, in collaboration with the German and theFeria de Stuttgart, has stimulated an intense agenda of activities on 9th, 10th and 11th October, focusing on the Stuttgart Fair, which hosts the world's leading electric mobility event: EVS30 (Electric Vehicle Symposium & Exhibition). The full conference programme combined with an extensive exhibition area, has brought together the leading agents of the sector with 8,000 participants, including representatives from IBERDROLAIBILINGETEAMINFORMÁTICA DE EUSKADIORMAZÁBALZIVEVEand theCÁMARA DE COMERCIO DE GIPUZKOA.

During its visit to the event, the delegation participated in a personalised guided tour of the fair, in which meetings were held with representatives of organisations, such as Audi AG, e-Mobil BW (Electric Mobility Cluster for the Region of Baden-Wurttemberg), Qualcomm, OLEV (Office for Low Emission Vehicles – UK), Robert Bosch GmbH, Daimler AG, E.ON Solutions and ABB EV Charging Infrastructure, with whom experiences and points of view on the development and future evolution of the sector were exchanged. The international nature of the event has fostered reunions with agents who participated in previous missions to France and Holland, as is the case of AVERE-France (French Association for the development of electric mobility), GIREVE (Interoperability platform for the development of electric mobility in Europe), FRESHMILE (Electric mobility manager), RENAULTE-laad (Knowledge and innovation centre for the electric charging system in Holland), and RVO (Dutch Business Agency).

Furthermore, the delegation had the opportunity to take part in the matchmaking sessions organised in parallel to the event, which attracted 195 agents in the 322 scheduled meetings over the three days and enabled synergies and collaboration opportunities between participants to be identified.

The mission was rounded off by attending many of the exhaustive panel of scheduled conferences and round tables, covering the entire spectrum of themes related to electric mobility, autonomous and connected vehicles, charging infrastructures and storage systems. The location of the exhibition area in the same venue facilitated networking among the members of the delegation and representatives of over 350 stands present at the event.
