SecurIT closed its 1st open call at the end of April 2022, which gathered 240 SME applicants from 33 different EU and H2020 associated countries. At the end of the evaluation process, 21 innovative projects – lead by 48 SMEs in total - have been selected for funding after the Jury Day pitch session which was held in Paris, La Défense in June 2022.

The funded projects have kicked off on 15th September 2022 the 12-month support programme provided by the consortium partners . They address several challenges in the three key domains identified by potential end-users, with the common objective of improving citizens’ security by protecting infrastructures, public spaces as well as forecasting natural disasters.
