About us
“The cluster wishes to become a significant European professional base for the future mobility solutions and infrastructure developments”
1. Supporting regulatory and methodological activities to establish the professional consultancy and standardization organization of the convergent fields of mobility, attached energetics, and info-communication - considering the relevant European Union recommendations and directives - for the Carpathian Basin.
2. Establishing Zala's smart specialization and innovation ecosystem to establish a mobility industry/service provider technology and innovation area also which is also significant on the EU scale in the Zala region.
3. Implementation of demonstration and sample projects (fundraising, management, and publication of good practices) to develop operational and economically self-sustaining innovation pilot projects that are marketable without significant external support and can be transferred and replicated in other cities and regions, and in the light of their future public tax revenue and economic development contribution, they can benefit from policy support.
4. Education & training & awareness raising (human capital) to provide Hungary based human resource background for supporting the implementation, technology, and innovation pillars by launching competency-based adult learning to meet the increased or new training needs (e.g.: in the convergent topics of 5G, info-communication, connected, automated & e-mobility), also considering the workforce requirements of cluster members.

Supporting Regulatory And Methodological ActivitiesAim: to establish the professional consultancy and standardization organization of the convergent fields of mobility, the related energetics, power supply, and info-communication - considering the relevant European Union recommendations and directives - for the Carpathian Basin.
Activity: the cluster created a Regulation/methodology work committee from the representatives of the members, which decided the establishment of two thematic working groups: 1. Mobil communication; 2. E-mobility and its connected power supply.
Establishing Zala's Smart Specialization And Innovation EcosystemAim: to establish a mobility industry/service provider technology and innovation area also which is also significant on the EU scale in the Zala region. In order to achieve this, the Zala County Government with the support of the Connected and Automated Mobility Cluster of Zala have decided to participate in the S3 – industrial modernization platform established in the thematic area of Safe and Sustainable Mobility.
Activity: The cluster offers a partnership to the Zala Region providing help to prepare the development of the Zala Innovation Ecosystem, to create the Infrastructure Development and Business / Financing Concept and to implement projects based on the regional innovation strategy for smart specialization.

Activity: Mapping the state-of-art needs and wants of the Members and other stakeholders; supporting the strategic developments of the EIT Urban Mobility KIC; establishing partnerships to be able to generate innovation projects in line with the developed strategies; support the project management the dissemination, best practice exchange and knowledge transfer activities of these projects. Education & Training & Awareness RaisingAim: to provide Hungary-based HR background to support the implementation, technology, and innovation pillars by launching competency-based adult learning to meet the increased or new training needs (e.g.: in the convergent topics of 5G, info-communication, connected, automated & e-mobility), while also considering the workforce requirements of cluster members.
Activity: The Education/training workgroup of the cluster has been established in order to support the creation and implementation of new, innovative training programs to facilitate the education of future employees of the cluster member companies as well as to create cross-training opportunities for the employees of areas in need of improvement according to the upcoming technological needs of the future’s economies.
