INTERNATIONALIZATION of our SMEs and community are top priorities. We need not only the export-import or cooperation activities with European partners, but also the access to third countries markets.

Our stratey proposed to local and regional authorities is summarized:

INTERNATIONALIZATION is necessary to strengthen the cluster's creative industries.

For this purpose, we recommend developing relationships with the Cluj-Napoca City Hall and the Cluj County Council, other institutions, for the use of all the huge external resources our community has.

To this end, we are focusing on 10 powerful engines of foreign relations development and international cooperation in Cluj:

1 - Twin Cities (http://www.primariaclujnapoca.ro/orase-infratite.html), represents a unexplored treasure and represents a resource for cultural, economic, creative-innovative exchanges;        The cluster should support the Local Council to initiate new approaches to increase the number of twin cities and provide the necessary technical assistance to annually cover at least 2-3 cities of interest on all meridians.

2 - The Cultural Centers of UBB Cluj (http://www.ubbcluj.ro/ro/structure/unitati/centre_culturale_straine), constantly develop creative events and are supported by foreign embassies, essential channels in the development of the international relations of the Cluj community.

3 - The Honorary Consulates (http://www.ambasada.ro/search/cluj.html) and the foreign economic representatives in Cluj-Napoca became antennas for the enhancement of the information exchange and the actual support given to the Cluj companies.

4 - The Cluj and Transylvanian diaspora in Europe, America, Australia, the Orient ... is our most important personal and permanent connection with more than 2.5 million fellow citizens working in companies, institutions, organizations or freelancers.

5 - The current and ongoing destinations related to our International Airport (http://airportcluj.ro/information-passengers/destinations) represent localities where not only part of the diaspora, but also a part of our direct relations business and culture, just a few hours away. These cities must be close to both communities and mayors / counties.

6 - Representatives of foreign firms in Cluj are a source of resources, requests, offers, contacts and partnerships, won by intelligent Cluj in the last quarter of a century.

7 - Residents and foreign students in business or studies, cultural or educational activities, etc. Will bring the sustainability of external relations in the next decade.

8 - The Cluj people employed in diplomacy, the economic representatives from abroad, the European Commission and the international organizations will continue to support the Cluj community they come from.

9 - Organizing conferences, exhibitions, international fairs in Cluj-Napoca and organizing economic, cultural missions abroad - classical activities in the development of international relations.

10- Internet and social networks: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, WhatsUpp ...

Developing an intelligent and coherent strategy of Cluj's external relations and providing intelligent services to the cluster of creative industries to both its members and local authorities will lead to accelerating prosperity, quality of life and an international lifestyle.
