About us

Pole Media Grand Paris was named "Cluster of Enterprises" in 2011.

It federates the actors of the audiovisual and film industry for the economic development of the sector in Paris Region. Its collaborative network regroups a hundred of structures: companies; local authorities; academic institutions; training organizations. The overall representing 8200 jobs and 2.4 billion € in turnover.

All the Digital Media activities are represented in the cluster, related to technical and computer services, as well as initial or continuing training in the sector.

Its mission is to animate its collaborative network around a new economic dynamic, based on innovation, training, employment, international development and social responsibility.

Its sectors of activity: Cinema, television, CGI animation, transmedia, augmented and virtual reality, digital archiving, training, research.

Its markets: Cinema, TV, advertising, transmedia, corporate communication, web, video game.

Achievements

We are organizing a yearly program called "Le Labo" where we are accompanying 8 selected candidates in the maturation of their transmedia projects. It includes training, coaching followed by pitching sessions during public events. Several supported projects won awards during international events and were financed and broadcasted by TV channels.

We are the french leader on-set shooting activity.

We are co-founder of Human2Sport, a think tank with Orange and Plaine Commune about innovations in Sport & Live Entertainment.

Further information

We are providing advisory services to our members related to legal, funding and sustainable development topics. The funding support includes a zero rate loan available at different stage of the development.

We have a strong communication activity to provide to our members strategic information and trends and also to promote our members' information through newsletters and social networks.

We are helping our members to attend international festivals/markets and also during the international STATISSCREEN4ALL event or Cap Digital Futur.e.s.

EuroTransmedia (2013-2016): Gathering media clusters to bridge digital content with emerging technologies

The EuroTransmedia project gathers some of the most influent triple helix media clusters in Europe.

Their main goal is to develop cooperation between all the stakeholders along the value chain (industrials, SMEs, research labs, academics, and public authorities) to address the Transmedia revolution with innovative solutions and stimulate economic development at European level.

As main achievement, a coherent and unified research agenda and the related interregional joint action plan will be developed by the consortium in close partnership with regional authorities. This will help Europe and its regions to reach the top spots in the emerging globalized Transmedia sector, forming a European wide, world class cluster of excellence in the field.

Further information

We are accompagnying and promoting our members during international festivals and also during the international Cross Video Days event that we are coproducing. We had also organised mission abroad, for instance in Canada.
