Achievements

Our exhibition „Carbon – The Material of the future“ was successfully presented at the „Deutsches Museum“ in Munich with 160.000 visitors and in the “Deutsches Museum” in Bonn. It was also displayed at the Textile and Industry Museum in Augsburg.

In order to reach our goal to turn the MAI Region in a European center of excellence for carbon fiberreinforced plastics (CFRP) and to lead CFRP technology to series capacity by 2020, a series of research and development projects with a volume of 80 million Euros are promoted in the cluster.

MAI Carbon also initiated programs (MAI Job, MAI Bildung) to support the education and training on CFRP knowledge.

We are also present at many conferences to support our partners and to gain new ones.
