About us

Lithuanian Medical Tourism Cluster LITCARE is an association of leading Lithuanian private and state organizations providing medical, dental, medical rehabilitation, accommodation, SPA & wellness, travel and leisure, medical facilitation and many other services aimed at taking the best possible care of all needs of a medical tourist. We form the medical tourism value chain and support it through synergic and coordinated activities, which has been established for increasing the extent and export of medical tourism services.

The objective of the organization is promotion and development of export, as well as strengthening Lithuania’s competitiveness in the international medical tourism market.

Achievements

  • Since late 2013 we have arranged 1 international and 3 local conferences, participated in 25 trade shows and 20 business missions, visited 14 countries in 3 continents, created more than 1000 valuable contacts with our target audiences and processed hundreds of medical requests.
  • The LITCARE brand is now well recognizable and the Cluster itself has already become widely known and respected partner by Eastern countries health tourism professionals: Latvia, Estonia, Russian Federation, Belarus, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. We started entering to UK, Israel, Norway, Sweden, Germany, USA and other markets.
  • Together with colleagues form Latvia and Estonia we agreed and are making steps to create a Baltic Health Tourism Cluster for even more rapid growth of health tourism within Baltic States.
  • We benefit from support of our government institutions.
  • We have strong confidence in our Cluster members and business partners.

General Medicine Services provides diagnostics, therapeutic and surgical treatment: check-up programs, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, gynecology, urology, fertility treatment, otorhinolaryngology, sports medicine, dermatology, traumatology, orthopedics, cardiology, vascular surgery, plastic & reconstructive surgery and many more.

Main Dentistry Services: dental implants, prosthodontics, oral surgery, orthodontics, periodontal treatment, endodontics, laser dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, 3d radiology, sedation dentistry, children's dentistry, general dental therapy, etc.

Or strongest Medical Rehabilitation specialities are neurology for children & adults, traumatology (children & adults), orthopedics (children & adults), arthrology (children & adults), cardiology (adults), pulmonology (children), ophthalmology (children) and gastroenterology (children).

Medical SPA provides medical SPA treatment, mineral water treatment, mud baths & applications, vertical baths,  classic medical massages, underwater massages and hundreds of other treatment and beauty procedures.

Besides treatment during the vist medical tourists may enjoy a unique Lithuanian cuisine, urban activities, shopping, business meetings, various culture events and entertainment, museums and galleries, excursions, lake or seaside recreation, countryside leisure, sports and active leisure, chlidren’s activities and many more our Tourism & Recreation services. Special services like interpreting, baby sitting and personal assistance can also be provided.
