iFOOD Cluster - the inspiring cooperation in the Hungarian food industry

We are an accredited business cluster looking for partnerships in the field of food production, mainly focusing on healthy food development, food waste solutions and food packaging. Our members mostly small- and medium-sized enterprises working in the food business (producers, suppliers, service providers and associated institutions).

In 2022 five domestic clusters signed an Intercluster Cooperation Agreement within the framework of the Intercluster Cooperation and Branding Alliance launched by the Accredited Innovation Clusters. These are the Hungarian Medical Manufacturers and Service Providers Cluster, Innoskart Cluster, IFood Cluster, Omnipack Cluster, Mirbest Cluster. The aim is to pool the knowledge accumulated by the Hungarian clusters and to jointly showcase the value of clusters by implementing operational actions that promote the expansion of the links, innovation, joint domestic and international opportunities of Hungarian clusters and their member companies and, overall, result in a successful and effective collaborative partnership of interest.

In 2022 the iFood Cluster has been awarded a European Union project PROAGRO (Providing Professional Innovation Services for The Agri-Food Sector in Southern Hungary) for a total amount of 143 400 EUR in a consortium with Innomine Digital Innovation HUB.
