About us
Groen Licht Vlaanderen is a non-profit association with the aim to generate substantial growth in smart & connected lighting systems. This will further improve energy-efficiency of lighting solutions and add societal benefits.
Groen Licht Vlaanderen promotes and facilitates collaboration on innovative smart & connected lighting systems amongst its members, which include lighting manufactures, IoT and ICT companies, technology and component suppliers and knowledge centres. The cluster aims to make the market more receptive to these lighting system innovations, amongst others by innovative business models and targeted promotion.

Achievements
Promotion Event Sustainable Lighting: The cluster organizes yearly a conference with exhibition to promote advances in lighting, to share knowledge and to facilitate networking.
LED Event 2015 (Netherlands - Belgium): The cluster promoted its activities with a booth and guest presentations at the yearly exhibition with conference. It assisted in organizing the 1st Belgian edition.
LED Expo Benelux 2015 (Netherlands): The cluster promoted its activities with a booth and guest presentations at the yearly exhibition with conference.
ForumLED 2015 (France): The cluster promoted its activities to facilitate lighting innovation by a guest presentation in an ELCA session.
The cluster is also present with a booth and/or presentations on many Belgian events.

Project name
Project "SSL-ERATE" (2013-2016) : is a 3-year FP7 coordination project that aims to accelerate the uptake of high-quality Solid State Lighting (SSL) technology in Europe by supporting open innovation and bringing validated information to all relevant stakeholders. The project has received funding from the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme for research, technological development and demonstration under grant agreement No. 619249.
